Only when you authorize us to begin the insurance application process for a policy and insurance company from which you choose to purchase insurance. Even then, you will receive the formal insurance application to review (and correct, if necessary) and sign before we release any of your personal information to the insurance company of your choice.
How will the insurance companies use my information once I authorize its release?
Any personal information gathered by Tiburon is used only for the process of determining whether you qualify for insurance products. Each insurance policy’s underwriting process is different, but, where permitted by law, your personal information may be used to request credit, medical and/or driving records from a third party. This information is used only after you have reviewed and signed the disclosures, releases and authorizations contained in the insurance application. Use and disclosure of your information is subject to the insurance company, to which you submit an application, own privacy policy.
